Manage and develop Benefit Account Managers; Work directly with in-house agency, human resources, payroll and sales to provide accurate & timely benefit administration and training; Supports management?s decision making by analyzing benefit options and managing costs; Build new plans and/or changes to existing plans by preparing announcement materials, plan summary documents and other media for communication to employees.; Prepare and execute, with legal consultation, benefits documentation, such as original and amended plan texts, benefit agreements and insurance policies. Ensure prompt and accurate compliance; Maintain relationships outside the organization; associations and carriers; Maintain the direct PEO/Benefit relationship with our PEO carrier partner(s); Support and attend regular PEO management meetings; Train internal benefits, HR and sales team on new benefit procedures changes.; Lead department training on benefit products, networks, systems, etc; Maintain and build existing/new customer relationships; Maintain in-depth knowledge on ACA changes that effect small or large group clients; Manage the PPACA processing for internal plan and client base; Develop and maintain department processes and procedures Maintain training budget for Benefit Account Managers to further their education Oversee process of building new benefit plans for accuracy on billing to our client base; Manage the complete process of the Slavic 401(k) plan including training internal staff and auditing of plan setup and deferrals.  

Job Requirements

Qualifications...

High school diploma/GED; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred. Management experience; minimum 5 years; Or A Master?s degree in human resource development with 4 years of experience in benefits administration; Or; Any appropriate combination of education and experience; Previous management experience; Ability to work in team environment and multi-task in a fast-paced setting Quick learner and eager to expand knowledge in the scope; Excellent leadership skills; Self-motivated with strong ability to work independently Strong knowledge and understanding of benefit products and insurance definitions; Team leader, customer service, project coordinator and time management skills; Proficient knowledge and working ability with Kronos, Salesforce, COBRA systems, carrier systems and Microsoft Office applications Ability to travel
